Arizona Bike Week is a good event.  Being held in March/April, the weather is really nice that time of year.  Some good rides
available too and the venues are usually big bands.  Must check this one out.

Norwalk Motorcycle Club annual Yuma Prison Run.  This event is open to all motorcycles and families are welcome. A lot of
members attend this event; it is a day of fun with live music and games for all, like the Slow Ride competition or the Wiener
Bite. You can camp at the fairgrounds or motel it.

Next is  The
Laughlin River Run.  Some people camp in Bullhead City or motel it. They try to get together to ride over to
Oatman AZ. If you have never been to Oatman, it is a small town that the Burrows get to roam free and if your timing is right
you may witness an old fashion shotgun wedding,

Skip Fordyce always holds the
West Coast Thunder.  This is a Memorial Day event with a parade ride from Skip Fordyce to
the Riverside National Cemetery. Riders should do this at least once to experience the thunder..

The legendary
Sturgis which is held in August, is always on a riders list of must do's.  It is in South Dakota, which is about
1300 miles from here.  Many that go here use their campsites or RV centers.

Street Vibration Reno is fun but the motels are slightly expensive.  A good route to Reno is using Hwy 395.It is a scenic ride
once you get close to Lone Pine and Bishop area. If you do go, be sure to go around Lake Tahoe, it is very beautiful ride.
Motels book up fast so make your reservations early.

Las Vegas Bikefest typically has over 300 vendors at the Cashman center. There are several registration packages to choose
from or if you volunteer for at least one shift (four hour minimum), you will receive one complimentary registration pass of
your choice. While you are there be sure to take a ride out at Red Rock area of Lake Mead National Park, just to let you
know there is a fee to get into the park.
