Fun Rides 2005
It was suggested that we have more rides during the months, some suggestion were Wednesday night
dessert rides, overnighter rides (Saturday and Sunday), Saturday by- monthly rides. John Wilson is
working on an overnight to the State Line on March 12 and 13. Pete and Linda have set up an
overnighter to Solvang for May 14th and 15th. Pete has all the information on the bulletin Board (Hotel
prices). In February how about a Valentine Teddy Bear Run to Loma Linda Hospital on February 13th.
All you need is a new Teddy Bear and put it on the back of your bike and you are set to ride. We are
hoping we can put it together soon, so watch for E-Mails and check the Bulletin board. We are hoping
to get more rides put together for the rest of the year. We will let you know as soon as we can. There will
be a suggestion box at the club meeting for comments and suggestion for rides, or any other information
that you need to pass on.

MRA and Chaparral Riders
Jerry from MRA came to the clubs meeting in January; he needs help with the Loma Linda Children’s
Toy Run. He has informed us that his chapter has decrease in members in the pasted few years and putting
on the Loma Linda Children’s Toy Run has become harder each year. For December 2004 the Run
had over 500 riders and they needed some more help. Chaparral Riders voted 100% to be part of this fun
and very meaningful once a year event. So far 11 Chaparral members have sign up. Make sure that you
sign the committee sheet to volunteer to help, or contact David McDaniel or Linda Aker. We are honored
that MRA wish to include us.
Poker Ride 2006
The Club voted on opening up the Poker Run to all. David has asked Chaparral Motorsport about it, and
they like the suggestion. So again we need volunteers for a committee to start working on all the details
for putting it together for 2006. So don’t be shy, contact Linda Aker or David McDaniel if you would
like to get involved.
Announcements
Congratulation to Linda Aker, she was voted in as the club Secretary.
We are now lining up facing south on H Street, this will help with traffic control.
The Road Captain will have certain riders as Co-Captains, if you get caught by a light or traffic you
need to locate one of them. To identify a Co-Captain he or she will have a banner attached to their
bike.
David holds a Officers meeting on the Thrusday following the monthly club meeting, contact David if
you wish to attend.
Guest may ride on a Club ride, but first must sign a Release of Liability. Be sure to see Earlene or
David McD. before the ride starts.
To all Road Captains, remember to end your ride with a LOUD ANNOUNCEMENT that the ride is
Officially Over.
