Club Funds
To date, in our club funds we have a total of $110.00. We are a non profit organnization whereas there are
no
profits at the end of each year. We recently used club funds to fund our annual Christmas Party for the

Our annual Poker Run was set for the month of November. Due to the fires it was cancelled until

next year. We had a small meeting for the month with no new members.

Bulletin
To the courtesy of the other riders and Road Captain it is important that we leave on time (around
9:00am) to make his/her lunch time which is around noon. So let's be prepard with a full tank of gas or
equivalent. The Road Captain does have a stop planned about 60 miles from Chaparral. Thanks from

LOMA LINDA FUNDS
Earlene, Linda and I (Darci) went Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!!!, for Loma Linda Children's Fund.
You would think with 3 woman that we could easily spend $3,000 in no time, but this was a real challenge!
We had
to purchase toys that were bed friendly. The toys had to beable to be played with while they are in beds, as
most of the children are bed ridden. We were able to purchase 2 large size Tv's with DVD and Tape
with the help of " BEST BUY" they gave us a discount. We also purchased roll about stands for the
TV'S, along
with learning toys, books, cassettes, blankets, socks, and PJs. Toys R Us is giving away large stuffed
animals
for each $100.00 that we spend. We were able to obtain 12! This was definitely a fun shopping spree as
it is going for a great cause, Loma Linda Hosptial for the Children's ICU Ward. It is a heartwarming feeling
when we deliver the toys to see their faces light up bright eyes and big smiles.

Mike Vaughn is making up a list for New Road Captains for the 2004 year. Please let him know if you

Ride. Kay has the course already mapped out and ready to ride. It will be a longer Run this year,
with a
stop for lunch. We are asking this Run that we have a $5.00 donation per bike to help pay for the

Sports lunches for helping to set up this annual event. We are hoping for a large turn out, so be
ready to
