50/50 Game
Each month at our monthly meetings, Chaparral Riders Club holds a 50/50 game. The game is hosted by
Eddie
Hopper. We usually have alot of participants and gives everyone a chance to win. There are always 2
winners
and never any losers!! Come join in and you can be a winner!!

Loma Linda Funds
Norm Bell is the director of our Loma Linda Charity fund. Each month Norm does a excellent job in
obtaining
funds for the cancer sticken children at Loma Linda. At the end of the year we have a annual bike ride to
Loma Linda to bring toys for the children .The Toy Run will be held on December 21st.
Each year at our annual Toy Run, members are asked to decorate their bikes to resemble Chirstmas
spirit for
the children as we parade in front of them at the hospital. For the past couple of years 2 of our members;
Bobby and Sharon take it just a little step further. Bobby dresses up as the "Grinch"( green make-up and
the total outfit!) and Sharon dresses up as Max the dog (make-up and all) as his side kick. They decorate
their
bike to look like a sleigh and even have toy animals and such hanging off of the back to resemble the
story movie. Last year the children were sooooo surprised and wanted to touch and be near the Grinch
and Max.
It was such a moving expericence that Loma Linda Hosptial asked if Bobby and Sharon would mind
dressing
up again and going in to see the really ill children that cannot make it outside to see the events in the
parking lot. Of COURSE Bobby and Sharon again will be taking on to be "The Grinch" and "Side Kick"

| Our Annual Christmas Dinner Party will be held Sunday December 7th!! There has been a change !!!! The new restaurant is the Hacienda Del Rey. The address is 1353 W. 6th St. Corona Ca. The phone # is 737-9440. The cost per person stayed the same ($13.00) the menu has change.. Which includes buffet style, Carnitas(Pork) and Carne Asada (top sirloin),Tortilla, Rice and Beans, Salsa and Chips, Salad, Soda or Tea. Checks or cash need to be made out to Chaparral Riders. We need to have the information as soon as possible to let the restaurant know how many are attending, this way they will have enough food to cover for everyone. We also are planning our yearly gift exchange which is always fun! Each gentlemen is to bring a wrapped gift for another gentlemen and each lady is to bring a wrapped gift for another lady. If the gift can be for either a lady or a gentlemen then please mark it for either sex. The cost of the gift should be no more than $15.00 per gift Last year we had some really nice gifts that were given out! We will be having our normal scheduled December meeting and ride for those of you who wish to ride. Norm Bell will be leading the ride and will end the ride at the Hacienda Del Rey restaurant.. Norm will also be doing the drawing for the winner of Loma Linda $100.00 gift Certificate to Chaparral Motorsport. Hope to see you there, as this is a great yearly event where we all get together to celebrate and spread some good cheer with one another!! |
