Captain's Report November 7th Ride
December Newsletter
Road Captain Report
The Club President that was supposed to be the Road Captain for November but was under the weather.
Vasco volunteered to lead us through the unknown weather system. Since the Club President had the case
of the sniffles and his ride was to Pioneer Town in Yucca Valley, Vasco decide to go there also. We
headed east on the 10 and the closer we got to Banning the clouds got darker toward Pioneer Town in
Yucca Valley. It looked a lot like RAIN. We stop to recalculate our route and John Tolle suggest heading
toward Elsinore, It looked a lot clearer towards the west. We got off the 79 in Banning and just stayed on
it to the 74 toward Temecula, then North on 15 toward Elsinore, exited Central Ave. to Douglas Burger
for late breakfast or early lunch. It was a short ride due to the rain. It did start to rain when we left the
restaurant, but not to much just enough to get the windshield wet. Thanks Vasco and John in leading the
group of 18 bikes.
