Each month, at our monthly meetings, Chaparral Riders Club holds a 50/50 game. The game is hosted by
Eddie Hopper. We usually have a lot of participants and it gives everyone a chance to win. Come join in
and you can be a winner!! Eddie will be selling 50/50 tickets starting at 7:30AM in the parking lot, $1.00 =
1 ticket.
Ed collect for 50/50 drawing earned $73.00. Club received $37.00, $18.00 was won by Earlene. and
Rodger each. Which both gave to Loma Linda Thanks Guys Total funds for the club is $1837.52
Loma Linda Funds
For the new club members, when you purchase a Loma Linda ticket (Green in Color) you must put your
name on the back and give it back to Barbara Frey. This way you are entered in the $100.00 drawing at
the end of the year. The Loma Linda tickets will be for sell in the parking lot before the meeting starts.
Cost is one dollar per-ticket. This is just a reminder, all that we collect goes to the children at the Hospital.
There will be a drawing for a Gift card worth $100.00 at the Clubs end of year Christmas Dinner, which
comes from the club funds.
Loma Linda drawing brought in $163.00 and the extra tickets was won by Earlene.

Remember, everything out there during the day is still there at night. It's just that it's a lot harder to see.
Gravel, potholes and other road hazards come up on you a lot more quickly when you don't have the
advantage of scanning well down the road like you can during the day. And watch out for animals, who
are often most active at dawn and dusk. If you live in an area where deer are prevalent, look for your
headlight to light up their reflective eyes. Continually scan the sides of the roads in heavy deer areas. If you
see one deer coming, there’s often another right behind. So slow down, and enjoy the nighttime ride.
