Wednesday Night Dinner Ride
August Newsletter 2005
The dead line for the newsletter is 10 days before the Wednesday Night dinner ride. It would be greatly
appreciated if you could E-Mail me at , Fax me at 247-3989 or Snail Mail me at
P.O.Box 34, Moreno Valley CA. 92556 ,with any correspondence in regards to the newsletter that also
includes the Captain Report.. Also if you have any rides during the week and would like other club
members to go, E-Mail me and I will put the word out.

50/50 Game
Each month, at our monthly meetings, Chaparral Riders Club holds a 50/50 game. The game is hosted by
Eddie Hopper. We usually have a lot of participants and it gives everyone a chance to win. Come join in
and you can be a winner!! We had two winners John H. and Leroy each $30.00 and they both donated it
to the Loma Linda funds $1.00 = 3 Tickets, $5.00 = 15 Tickets, $10.00 = 32 Tickets. Ed Hopper
will be selling 50/50 tickets in the parking lot, before the meeting starts. The Club Funds total is now to
date $1,389.83.

Reminder!!!! There is a sign in sheet at each meeting. Please make sure that you put a check mark next
to the appropriate box for the month. We have added a new box, which is if you are riding on the ride.

Announcements
John Wilson will host a camping ride to Death Valley or Kern Plato. If you are interested please contact
him. Date will be determined as to when everyone wants to go.
Poker Run 2006 Committee- So far we had 6 sign up for the committee. Remember that we voted to
open this to the public. We need a least 10 members by July.
. Road Captains for 2006, are you one of the lucky ones to volunteers. We will be having a meeting
for all future and present Road Captains. More information at the meeting

Loma Linda Funds
The check is the mail for the Fun Center. It was a long road to save it up, but we did it. So everyone pat
themselves on the back for all the great effort. Total funds now $598.00. John Tolle will be selling tickets
in the parking lot, before the meeting starts. This is just a reminder, all that we collect goes to the children
at the Hospital, except what we have set aside $100.00 Chaparral gift card, which is given out at the
