Aprils Poker Run
4th ANNUAL DUAL SPORT POKER RUN
April 4th will be the 4th Poker Run for club members and guests to enjoy. Each year the turn out grows
and we hope every new member will join us for this fun ride. For those that have not ridden a poker run,
you must check in at 5 separate check points, where you will draw a card and receive directions on how
to reach the next check point. You must follow the directions carefully so as to not miss a critical
turn. The first check point and start will be at the Chaparral Parking Lot. Start time is 8:30 am. Please
have your bikes gassed up and be ready to go. We have laid out a very scenic route with open roads,
twisty/curvy side roads and a run that will please all types of riders.REMEMBER!! Daylight Savings
Time begins (April 4, 2004), so make sure you set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed on
Saturday night. If you start late, you may not make it to a check point before it closes. As several
members have told me, the Poker Runs just keep getting better and this is one ride you don't want to
miss. See you at sign-up on April 4th.
There is a $5.00 Fee Per-Bike.
Poker Run Teaser Question: How many think that Vasco will get lost?
So far it as been said, that Vasco will miss 2 turns!!!!!
For those inquiry minds that want to know about the course:
The course contains freeway, streets, rural country roads and plenty of curves to keep you awake. Great
food awaits you at the finish. Don't get lazy or you'll miss a couple of critical turns.
